What is your favorite part of waking up every morning?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 25, 2007:
my cat, monkey, knows that when the alarm goes off, its time for me to get up. so as soon as it goes off, he jumps up on the bed right next to my head and starts purring and nuzzling me with his nose. if i don't respond right away, then he starts batting gently at my head with his paw or licking my hair until i get moving. while i always complain how annoying he's being, secretely, i love it. it's the cutest thing EVER. :)
